Toxic Butt Injections Hospitalized Woman
A man claiming to be a doctor injected cement, fix-a-flat, mineral oil, and Super Glue into the buttocks of a woman in the Miami area, resulting in several hospital visits for the victim. The person depicted in the image above is the alleged injector of the toxic materials, not the victim whose identity has not been released. Police in Miami eventually found the transgender man who claimed to be a doctor, yet has no license and injected the victim in a Miami Gardens townhouse several times for $700. As of yesterday it wasnt verified, but it appears the accused had been injecting him or herself as well.
In a world where body image is in the forefront of our media, this woman, for whatever reason, thought that this was the answer and she almost lost her life, said one of the detectives on the case. (Source: Sun Sentinel) It actually took over a year to track down the fake doctor. The victim was too embarrassed to report the situation, due to the sensitive nature of the attempted body augmentation. She is still in poor health, though at least now she has been receiving professional medical from licensed healthcare workers.
She is one of the fortunate ones. Another Florida woman died after being injected with silicone in an attempted buttocks augmentation in the year 2001. She attended a pumping party in the Miami area (Miramar) and was injected in a home.
It has been documented Florida has an issue with unlicensed individuals injecting people with silicone or other materials for cosmetic purposes, I have a department of six investigators working flat out but were barely scrat! ching th e surface of the problem. Since the end of 1998 weve made 211 arrests relating to the illegal cosmetic industry in Florida, 88 of them people practicing without licenses, injecting silicone and other unlicensed products. But the guys doing this are like cockroaches: when the light is on them they scatter and disappear, but when the light goes off again they always scuttle back. (Source: The Guardian)
People should know elective cosmetic surgery, even when performed by licensed doctors and nurses can go wrong.
