Do you know how to exercise your mind power? Can you really do it? In fact, anyone can. The truth is that not many people are aware that the power of the mind is not just restricted to analytical or problem solving skills. A truly powerful mind is one that taps into the vast potentials of subconscious awareness. But how do you do that?

Go Beyond the Obvious

Most people are trapped in what their five senses able to pick up. If you are one, you are effectively trapping the unlimited power of your mind like the genie in the lamp. You have to first set your mind free, see beyond the obvious and say to yourself that some things beyond the senses are absolutely possible. The mind, with its inherent power, will be able to perceive events that have not happened, see hidden objects, pick up other people's thoughts and ultimately, achieve your life goals. By simply keeping an open mind about the boundless possibilities, you begin your journey into unlocking your inner power.

Think Positive

Happiness and success are not monopolistic possessions of the optimists. You may not be an optimist, but you will certainly make things easier for you and for your mind if you strive to keep everything on a positive note. This is especially crucial if you intend on using mind power to achieve your goals in life. It can never be more truthful in life when as soon as any negative thoughts creep into your mind, you will end up unmotivated for the rest of the day, lose the concentration and become incapable of getting anything done properly.

Visualize

Your amazing mind power can be tapped for doing things that you never thought possible. You can use it for something as simple as instinctively locating a parking space, or as complex as spotting immediately a potential business connection. In all cases, you will always be required to exercise some visualization skill. This is not as difficult as it seems. When you have something in mind that you want badly, what you need to do is to visualiz! e hard t hat you have eventually attained it!

Self-Discipline

Even powerful psychics practise tremendous self-discipline. What you need is the will to resist thinking negatively, and to visualize your goals on a regular basis. Such practice requires discipline. For some people, tapping the power of the mind comes naturally. Others may have to make it a point to practise visualizing and sensing with the mind daily to unleash their mind powers to the full potential.

Continuous Learning

You may tap your mind power through self-learning. There are books that help you learn effectively on your own, at your own pace. However, if you can, learn from a trusted expert. There are experts who will bring up your skill level that much faster. Some of these experts do not cost much. They simply want to help others enjoy lives of fulfillment, like they do.

Should Mucus be Added to Baby Formula?

Baby formula someday may include the ingredient of mucus, to help protect babies against viral infections, researchers say.

Unlike breast milk, baby formula lacks elements of the mother's immune system that protect the baby against disease. This may be one reason mothers hesitate to switch to baby formula, said Katharina Ribbeck, a biological engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

"It would be great if we could improve the quality and add those missing components," Ribbeck said.

In their recent study, Ribbeck and colleagues showed that mucins, which are the proteins that are the main component of mucus, protected cells against infection by human papillomavirus(HPV), influenza A (a type of flu virus) and Merkel cell polyomavirus (a virus that can cause skin cancer).

Although the researchers tested only these three viruses, they suspect mucins protect against infection by other types of viruses.

The findings suggest mucins might be added to a variety of products, from hygiene products to baby formula, as an antiviral supplement, the researchers said. Mucins are already added to some products, but not for their antiviral properties; for example, they are added to certain moisturizers for their moisturizing properties.

However, obstacles remain. The study was conducted on human cells in a dish, so more work would be needed to show the same thing would happen in the human body.

In addition, the mucins used in the study were collected from pigs' stomachs. Some people may not be comfortable with the idea of consuming an animal product, Ribbeck said.

In the future, researchers may find a way to mass-produce synthetic mucins, Ribbeck said. She noted that in the case of insulin, a synthetic version was created after the first studies used a version isolated from pigs.

Mucus, which coats wet surfaces of the body, is a natural barrier against pathogens, Ribbeck said. But rather than simply functioning as a passive roadblock, mucins appear to play an active role in the body's immune system, Ribbeck said.

In the study, Ribbeck and colleagues coated cells with a gel of mucins before exposing the cells to the three viruses. The viruses became trapped in the gel and did not infect the cells, likely because of the action of the mucins. It could be that viruses bind to sugar molecules on the mucins, which are similar to the molecules the viruses normally attach to on host cells, Ribbeck said.

The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health and appeared April 4 in the journal Biomacromolecules.

Pass it on: Components of mucus may be able to boost the healthfulness of baby formula and other products, but more work must first be done.

Mind Power Secrets Do Work!

Article by Grace Murphy

I have heard a lot about mind power secrets, and also positive thinking lately. There are a few things that spring to mind...don't they all boil down to thinking positively, or to 'getting motivated' as some self-help books can be summed up as? Well I thought so, but I have done some research and actually found that is some truth in these mind power secrets!!

ResearchExperts in many fields recognize the potential in the human mind. Within the field of psychology, placebo affects are widely known. Participants in a control group and do not receive treatment (e.g. receive a sugar tablet instead of an active drug under examination), have been found to demonstrate some of the expected effects of treatment because they believe that they are in the treatment group. Numerous research studies have been conducted that demonstrate the positive effect of visualizing anticipated events with positive outcomes. Biofeedback can be used by a person to gain control of various physical processes such as blood pressure and heart rate that were previously believed to be purely an autonomic response. If you learn how to tap into the power of your mind, you will be able to achieve what you want to achieve.

What this will not do:What learning about the power of your mind and mind secrets will not do is reiterate ineffective advice and phrases that you have heard before and do not need to pay for.-Chants such as 'I will be successful' to repeat to yourself all day -It won't tell you to 'get some motivation'

Some of the things that this will do for you: -Teach you how to achieve mind control and put you on the path to success whenever you want it-Enable you to use your mind to help you achieve success instead of using your mind power to think through work problems, coordinate your schedule, and other things that work against you instead of working for you-Teach you to stop avoiding potentially 'great' things, such as this opportunity to unlock your mind power secrets-Increase your self-confidence-Teach ! you how to get rid of any bad habit you have

Methods:You can employ an expert in this area to teach you the process. However, this will be according to their schedule and may be at a huge cost. The next method is to teach yourself to unlock your mind power secrets using a mind power book or other resource. Utilizing this method is cost-efficient both financially and in terms of your time. It also has the huge benefit of you being in charge of unlocking your mind powers, meaning you can make immediate changes. The true key to unlocking mind power secrets is in you, starting with making the decision to learn to unlock these secrets! Start with the belief that you are capable of achieving this just like everyone else and find a clear guide and powerful system to teach you how to unlock your mind powers so that you can achieve everything you have ever wanted.

YOU have the mind power to change your life! Learn how you can use the power of your mind to improve your life right now. Make practical and immediate changes towards success! Go to http://tinyurl.com/klud3x now!

Spreading the Word with Stylish, Spiritual Clothing for Teen Girls

Posted: 11 May 2012 08:00 AM PDT

Article by Matthew Stewart

You have probably heard the adage, "clothing makes the man," and there is a certain amount of truth to that saying. The clothing that you wear definitely makes a statement and can reflect on your personality and thinking. So, how can teen girls use that thinking to make a conscious statement about their faith in a trendy and cool way? What would Jesus wear?

Jesus would wear stylish, spiritual clothing!

The fashion and clothing industry is not only about selling clothing, accessories, and looking good. It can also be about spreading an important message. Offering spiritual, fashion-forward clothing to teen girls allows Christian companies to maintain the status quo of their business while simultaneously spreading the word and good news of Jesus Christ. The clothing not only appeals to young girls with modern styles and designs, but makes a positive difference in their day. Spiritual clothing is not meant to convert nonbelievers, but to minister others, make a statement of what you believe, and spread encouraging words with a little hint of faith.

Spiritual clothing was once thought of as only appropriate for church gatherings and events. However, this is not the case anymore. Most spiritual clothing is casual and fashionable - just what teen girls want! Great for a day at school or at the mall with friends, spiritual clothing can be right at the front of the closet instead of tucked away in a drawer waiting for a youth group retreat.

One of the most popular articles of clothing among teenage girls is the t-shirt. With so many t-shirts out there promoting corporations, products, bands, television shows, and what-not, why not use the medium to spread the word of something far more important? T-shirts achieve this easily in a fun, yet simple way.

First, in order for spiritual clothing to even appeal to teen girls, it has to be modern, fun, and fashionable. In days past, much Christian wear was made for men - large, boxy t-shirts that no self-respecting teenage girl woul! d be see n in. In order for girls to be able to spread the word through clothing, it must be cool and cut to fit the feminine form. Having faith never meant that you can't have fashion sense! The designs and slogans on these articles of clothing also need to be powerful yet girly and subtle. The best spiritual clothing evolves with the latest trends and styles - something teen girls keep a close eye on.

Stylish and spiritual clothing makes it easy for teen girls to be a good witness everyday. It's as simple as getting dressed in the morning. At first thought, many teen girls may cringe at the idea of spreading the word with their fashion... that is until they see modern spiritual clothing. Mostly in the form of cute, girlie tops, today's spiritual clothing often features a humorous yet significant slogan or message on it. Some spiritual messages aren't even in the form of words and catchy phrases, but as designs such as angel wings, butterflies, and fish. Other types of spiritual clothing and accessories may include hats, tote bags, hoodies, sweatshirts, belts, bracelets, and necklaces.

Teen girls that have faith can spread the word without actually evangelizing when they don spiritual clothing. A lot of times people, especially teenagers, don't want to come across as 'preachy' to their friends and neighbors, but they still want to state what makes them feel good. Cool spiritual clothes mean girls can spread the good word without uttering a single syllable. All it takes is to glance at their shirt or tote bag. This simple glance spreads the message and gets other people thinking, and that's all you really need. Some people might even ask about the message or design on the clothing, giving you the opportunity to elaborate at your leisure.

Spiritual clothing doesn't have to be as staid as it once was. Its made the transition to more fun and stylish, embracing things that girls like. The word can be an intense topic and message for some, but with cool spiritual clothing it doesn't have to be convey! ed that way at all. Girls love making fun fashion statements, and through their choice of clothing their statement can also spread the word. This allows them to get the word out and let their beliefs be known without coming down heavy-handed. Sometimes, the religious reference isn't always obvious but the design is always related in some way to the Bible or Jesus Christ. When the message is conveyed in a humorous and lighthearted way, it usually appeals more to teen girls.

Mind Machines a Great Tool for Spiritual and Mental Self Development

Posted: 11 May 2012 07:00 AM PDT

Article by Thomas Wolf

Mind machines are often known as light and sound machines and are brilliant tools for mental development. I first came across them about 10 years ago and I did on occasion use them as part of therapy sessions with my hypnosis patents. They have come on a great deal in recent years and can be used safely and effectively at home for both therapeutic, learning enhancement and just purely recreational. In this article I am going to try and give you a brief overview on the benefits and the states of consciousness you can easily reach with this tool.

The brain has four categories of brain wave that can be recorded or in the use of a mind machine accessed at will. They are often related to the level of engagement and focus of the person, from Beta to Delta state. We even access these states while asleep, a person sleep pattern is 90 minutes, REM or rapid eye movement is a well know state that we all access when actively dreaming, this is related to theta brainwaves.

Beta brainwaves are between 15 and 40 cycles per second and are the most engaged state of mind. If we were really focused on an activity, say public speaking, we would normally be in very high band of Beta state.

Alpha state is the next stage, if we go by lower cyclic rate, normally around 9 to 14 cycles per second. This is a state associated with spiritual or meditative state of mind, also incidentally with the hypnotic state. Obviously the ability to access this level of consciousness without years of training and with just a mind machine has a lot of advantages. Many people use mind machines to speed up their psychic or spiritual development, turning years of work into months.

We have the next stage down which is Theta, around 5 to 8 cycles per second. We have all accessed this stage when doing a repetitive action; we drift off into a daydream. This is used to access deeper spiritual realms, I have used this level for shamanic path working and had very good results.

Finally we have the Delta state, at the lo! west cyc lic state of 0.5 to 4 cycles per second. This level of brainwave activity would normally be associated with deep dreamless sleep. It has also been associated with the very deepest state of meditation, to learn this level of meditation would take many, many years of practice.

I am sure looking at the different states easily achievable by most people with a mind machine you can see what useful tools these are. I like the flexibility of the vast range of mind machines available, everything from already programmed basic entry level all the way up to professional machines you can even create your own personal programs for. As a tool for spiritual and mental development, they take some beating; I am still finding new techniques and uses for mine many years later. As a professional therapist I would not hesitate to add this to my tool chest, I am sure you can think of uses I have not even thought of for a mind machine.

I have worked for many years as a Sales Trainer and Sales Manager, eventually setting up his own Motivational Training Company. I am a trained therapist using Hypnosis and NLP mainly, but also a Firewalk Instructor and Spiritual Trainer of many years practice.I have used mind machines both professionally and personally with great results. Body-Mind Medicine

Posted: 11 May 2012 06:00 AM PDT

Mindfulness
by RubyJi

Article by Stephen Lau

Copyright (c) 2009 Stephen Lau

Your mind is directly related to your body. Your mental state affects your physical well being. This body-mind medicine is the foundation of Oriental medicine.

Not until recently did modern Western medicine begin to recognize the dynamic relationship between the mind and physical illness. Now, there is "psychoneuroimmunology" which is the study of how the mind, the brain, and the immune system affect one another in terms of overall health.

There is strong evidence that your thoughts, feelings, and moods affect the production of your brain chemicals, which directly impact the physiological system in your body. In other words, there is scientific evidence in body and mind interactions in human diseases, or the efficacy of body-mind medicine.

To illustrate body-mind medicine, your heart is more than just a circulatory pump. To the Chinese, the "heart" is an organ of "thinking" ("think with your heart"), which means your heart is a storage of your thoughts and emotions, and therefore is responsible for any positive or negative impact on the beating of your heart, or more specifically on your heart health.

William Harvey, the first scientist who established a link between the heart and the mind, or body-mind medicine, said: "Every affection of the mind that is attended with either pain or pleasure, hope or fear, is the cause of an agitation whose influence extends to the heart."

Your emotions can have a significant impact on your heart health, in terms of regulating your blood pressure and heart beat and rhythm, through the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system. In addition, your negative emotions, such as anger and anxiety, can adversely affect your cardiovascular system through the release of hormones, such as adrenaline and non-adrenaline, which can cause blood clotting and hardening of arteries.

In Chinese medicine, there are seven emotions: joy, anger, worry, contemplation, sorrow, fear, and anxiety. These emotions can caus! e diseas es and disorders, or they may be a result of distress of the internal body organs. Chinese healing focuses on the body-mind medicine.

Your mind may also increase your cancer risk. Depressed individuals have a higher risk for cancer. The reason is that if you are depressed, your immune system is impaired, and weakened immunity may be a contributing factor to abnormality of cells and tissues. As a matter of fact, several studies have been conducted to determine if personality characteristics may predispose an individual to cancer. In one study, for example, women after undergoing breast biopsies and being diagnosed with malignancy were found to be less capable of expressing their anger openly than those whose biopsies were negative. In other words, repressed and suppressed emotions adversely affect the immune system, which in turn may provide a breeding ground for cancer development. In another study at UCLA, findings indicated that emotional counseling and education not only improve immunity from cancer but also reduce the risk of cancer relapse. This attests to the significance of body-mind medicine.

Your mind may also have an impact on your diabetes because your emotions have a direct influence on your blood sugar and insulin production. In animal studies, it has been demonstrated that a stressful environment is conducive to elevation of blood sugars.

Body-mind medicine should play a pivotal role in modern medicine. The mind and body are two fully integrated features of life. Therefore, diseases in the mind are reflected as diseases in the body. So, to stay healthy, take care of not just your body but also your mind. Negative emotions may play havoc with your overall health.

Reach Out To WaheGuru

www.RajKaregaKhalsa.Net http Waheguru (Punjabi: ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ) is the primary Mantra; it means the "Wonderful Lord". The word Vaheguru is made up of two word Vaah(e) and Guru. Vaah or Vaahe is an ecstatic expression of awe and wonder. Therefore it is often translated as wondrous or wonderful. Guru derives from two words. Gu means darkness, and Ru (Roo) means light. Therefore Guru means that power, being, and presence, which dispels darkness and brings light, in other words Enlightener. Cumulatively, the name implies wonder at the Divine Light eliminating spiritual darkness. It might also imply -Hail the Lord whose Name eliminates spiritual darkness. Becoming Conscious and Aware Through A Vegan Lifestyle

Posted: 11 May 2012 05:00 AM PDT

Article by Sutiyo Na

What is a vegan? A vegan is a person who cuts-out from eating and using animal products including their by-products. Some products are clearly non-negotiable such as red meat, fish, poultry, dairy, milk and eggs. Other items such as honey, silk and refined sugar are also being debated. Gelatin and whey milk are also avoided by vegans much as wool, suede, animal leather and animal skins. Vegans also advocate against animal cruelty and they don't like to pay visits in pet stores, circuses, zoos and animal rodeos. There are different factors that need to be considered and so far a vegan lifestyle is a personal choice.

If vegan lifestyles sound interesting for you, there are numerous ways that you can pursue this lifestyle and get to know all about the aspects of living a vegan life such as supplying your pantry with vegan products. You can also learn how to use replacement foods that you already consume with vegan preferences and how to follow your nutritional body needs, also address common beliefs and misconception about the vegan lifestyle, and learn how to cut-out animal products.

You should always remember that living a vegan lifestyle is often attributed with reduced risks for some health problems such as lung cancer, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and high blood pressure, although specific measures have to be carried out by vegans to ensure that nutritional necessities are met.

A vegan lifestyle is a personal choice, that, when all factors are considered, involves asking and answering questions on some ethical factors of animal farming practices, the moral issues associated with slaughtering living things for staple, and even about the chemicals that are taken that may enhance the wellness and longevity and might also be encountered to the recent evolutionary stage of man.

A full-pledged vegan may simply follow a certain vegan diet. But most vegans consider it a full lifestyle and have some ethical, ecological and spiritual convictions for their lifestyle pr! eference s. They try to avoid animal products not only in their food consumption but also in the material things they use. Some food such as gluten, sugar, wine and even vinegar are usually processed with animal components. As an example, charred animal bones are normally used in the refining of sugar and wine refining. Even though it is very hard to avoid totally all products that involve animals, vegans try to minimize their use.

Most vegans purchase only from vegan companies. Some advocates more conservative businesses who offer some products that are free from animal components. Also other vegans take a different approach. Some of their preferences are based on different criteria and conditions for both animals and humans.

Furthermore, aside from avoiding animal-based products, most vegans prefer not to use wool, leather and silk or some cosmetics that are made from animal products. In reality, this would eliminate leather goods and specific soaps, fabrics, detergents, and glue. In a typical vegan household, the people inside attempt to live consciously and in harmony by not doing any harm to their environment.

There are numerous benefits of living a vegan lifestyle. In increasing longevity and vitality, one can enjoy his, her or its life more. Taking some effort to make aware decisions in the personal diet and lifestyle can lead to being less in accordance with the pressures of consumerism that involves mass marketing and psychological marketing.

The True Power of the Mind

Posted: 11 May 2012 04:02 AM PDT

Article by Richard Onebamoi

The true power of the mind, extraordinary as it is many are yet to enjoy its potential and possibilities. Understanding the true power of the mind is critical to your personal and professional success. Mahatma Ghandi observed, "A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes." With the thoughts, you hold in your mind, you will initiate a sequence of actions or inactions that will lead to the actualization of the contents of the thought, whether these thoughts are empowering or disempowering.

The reality is the state of your mind determines the state of your life, the condition of your life and your thoughts hold the key to what you achieve and do not achieve. Consequently, self-improvement must begin with the enlargement of your mind through the acquisition of information, training and nourishing it with positive mental diets, such as reading books that are uplifting, meditation or joining a mastermind group in order to produce thoughts that are in harmony with your core values, goals and objectives.

"You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations in what you can do except the limitations of your own mind" Darwin P. Kingsley. The reason most people are not successful right now is because of the condition of their minds and the limitation placed on it. There are clutters in the mind that are hindering progress of any activity embarked on. Your ability to progress is highly impacted if your mind is incapacitated in any shape or form. Therefore, it is crucial that your mind is uncluttered from these things causing it to be unproductive.

Success in any enterprise is a product of the right use of the mind. Your mind is one single factor that determines your value in life and your relevance to your world Napoleon Hill observed, "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve." The mind serves like an incubator and whatever that you sow into it can reproduce. In order to be successful t! he mind has to conceive plus you have to believe that it is possible to achieve whatever it is that you have conceived. This is the reason why it is imperative to feed the mind with materials that will enhance the mind to a positive conception to the levels of possibilities.

I want you to understand that through appropriate use of your mind you can produce outstanding changes you desire in your life, for, "as he thinks in his heart so is he." Begin today the results will be immeasurable. Please, feel free to share your thoughts.

Posted: 11 May 2012 03:00 AM PDT

Article by Shabnam Kaur

Reiki Crystals have become one of the best procedure for Reiki treatment, because of its spiritual touch and faster healing capabilities. Infact it has fared well for many people who earlier suffered from severe anger problems, mental trauma as well as acute depression. The various processes undertaken in this procedure have brought magical effect on people.

Commercialisation is one of the many reasons for widespread stress among youngsters as well as professionals. People have become more professional and hardly care for emotional support or love. They have infact discovered various spiritual ways to combat stress. For example, it is often seen that big celebrities resort to meditation and as well as various spiritual exercises or practice Yoga to reduce anger problems and other personal emotional issues. Among these curative procedures, Reiki is a Japanese art that is considered to be a excellent medicine for all type of sickness. It is a method of stress reduction and relaxation. All you need to do is sit with your hands palm to palm and chant specific words aloud every morning and night.

This spiritual treatment have brought magical effects on people. It can be done through various ways. A very common way that is frequently followed to treat stressful people is with the help of Reiki Crystals that speeds up the healing process. Healing through this process is done in three procedures, namely, laying on stones, chakra balancing and, finally, the seven colour layout. In case of the first process of Reiki Cure, you are supposed to lay down on stones which are being judiciously chosen for healing purposes. This process helps to remove emotional, mental as well as spiritual blocks to revert the patient to a better life. It is actually a one to one interview session, where the healer quietly listens to the patient and allows him/her to release his/her emotional turmoils and pain. It is very necessary on the healers part to be supportive, non-judgemental while the patient speaks. Only u! tmost sa fety, belief and faith can stimulate the client to finally speak from the heart. As for the stone, it is kept on the body to impart energy and can be removed when its energy is absorbed.

The next process of Reiki Cure with the help of reiki crystals is the most talked about Chakra balancing. This process works on the concept of balancing and vibration. For balancing the chakra, a stone with the appropriate colour is placed on each area of the body. This is done to boost the chakras with their own vibration without changing its energy, thus maintaining the harmony of the entire system. What is most important here is that the interaction between the chakra and the stone brings the patient back to healthy vibration, thus healing the affected part of the body.

What comes next is the seven colour layout process which is frequently used by various Reiki artists. Under this process, seven different coloured stones are taken which are used for different healing purposes. Each stone is specialised to heal a particular body part with the help of chakra concept. A red stone is kept near the base of the spine or alternatively, two red stones are kept on the top of each leg. This supports the base chakra. Orange stone is kept on the lower abdomen. The yellow stone is kept between the rib cage and the naval. Next, to this comes the Green stone which is kepton the middle of the chest. This is commonly known as chest chakra also. For the throat, a blue stone is used. Other than this, the indigo colour is for the brow and is kept in the centre of the fore head. Finally, to complete the entire chakra system, a violet stone is used for the crown chakra. This stone rests just above the top of the head. There are various types of reiki crystals collection that are commonly used while executing Reiki. Some of the examples of such stones are Vastu Crystals, Zen crystals, Quartz Crystals, Generator crystal, Tabey crystal, rainbow crystals etc.

Drug smuggling: a spiritual encounter during the late 60's vs. today's Mexican drug cartels

Posted: 11 May 2012 02:00 AM PDT

Article by Frank Sayre

There are twists and incongruities to every story. In this one; I went to work for my older brother. For five years, during the 60's/70's era, we were marijuana smugglers.

It was at the height of the American Brotherhood Era. As harbingers of a new age, we were among the millions of who devoted our lives to making love, not war. We experimented with drugs and altered our consciousness; "rights" bestowed on us by our forefathers; the freedom to pave paths to higher consciousness.

The war in Vietnam played an intrinsic role. It was our springboard. Acting on our rights we protested the insane blood letting. Armed with the facts that marijuana was a far safer relaxant then alcohol, and that all wars were military theatrics created by men who wanted us to follow in their footsteps, the Brotherhood Era of the 60's/70's came to be.

Now there's another drug war being waged. This one is between the Mexican drug smuggling cartels and the Mexican and U.S. governments.

I find this of particular interest because I have lived in Mexico and spent time in their jails. I well know of the crimes and corruption that have been going on for decades in a 3rd world nation where the rich grow richer. Now the drug cartels want a huge piece of the action. As of 2003, drug money accounted for 8% of the GNP of Mexico.

It's well accepted that our nation has an insatiable appetite for illicit drugs. In cooperate with Mexico's government, the U.S. government works to stem the flow of illicit drugs. But in the past three years the battle has grown to major proportions.

In 2008, marijuana became the cartels biggest revenue source; 8.5 billion dollars, cocaine at 3.9 billion dollars. World leaders believe it's time to debate over the legalization of illict drugs. Other leaders believe decriminalization of drugs might bring down violence-there would be social damage.

Meanwhile, Mexican drug cartels are slaughtering innocent people as I write this article: It's insane and to be unders! tood: Th ere is a major difference between my brotherhood era true-life stories and the present day reality that is going on south of the border.

My compelling stories have merits that reach deep into the roots of humanities quest to gain freedom from emotional pain.

There were three of us. We were reneges on a spiritual path, but making all that money got in the way along with our fragile, male egos. We didn't use guns to settle battles. We used everything else; cunning, detent, common sense, deception; coercion in some cases. Mostly we used Brotherhood era percepts: peaceful means.

This story is not about glory-seeking or the crimes we engaged in so much as it is about the passions and beliefs we embraced. We were born in America, where freedom-like everywhere else-has a price. The narrative serves up insight and understanding into male psyches during this expansive and freedom-seeking culture. It is also about the time immortal, unceasing struggles and deceits mankind faces. Love and connectiveness played a major role in our 70's era all of which enabled many of us to look deep into our inner-realms for answers.

I wrote this story to gain more awareness about humanity, but, foremost, to heal past wounds and gain knowledge about how past traumas can peel open our fragile psyches and let-in forces of destruction. Each and every time I revised the book, I peeled away a layer of fear, grief, pain and anger. Writing empowered me, and in so doing it will, through vicariously means, empower the reader who is always susceptible to the whims and the power of thoughts and suggestions authors' conger up.

I went to great lengths to bring out the truth and tell all the stories as they happened; the where, who and what that took place. Truth sets us free, and that is the creed by which I live.

Christian Yoga?

Posted: 11 May 2012 01:00 AM PDT

Article by Alex Smith

There is an interesting article in the September 5th issue of Time magazine. This particular article covers a spectrum of opinions about mixing Christianity with Yoga. Even, if you don't agree with a single opinion, it's a good read, as long as you remain objective.

Over the course of time, I have been lucky enough to teach, or practice, with someone from every known religious denomination; so the statement by a Professor Tiwari at the Hindu University of America, where he states that, "Yoga is Hinduism," is surprising, coming from a scholar. Possibly, this statement was taken out of context, but fundamentalism exists, to a degree, in every form of religion.

If some Christians want to practice Yoga to make a closer connection to God, who are any of us to criticize it? Isn't one of Yoga's purposes, the union of self with a Supreme Being? So what is the big deal?

Truthfully, many fundamentalists are all about division - keeping the masses divided, at war with each other, and preferably, in a "holy war." They fear the unity of mankind, letting go of power, and world peace. They don't want to loosen their grip on their followers, so they squeeze a little more.

So if a Christian group wants to practice "Son Salutations", or "PraiseMoves," give them a break. Yoga is practiced in sectarian atmospheres by a variety of different religions. Nobody has a monopoly on Yoga. Yoga is a complete health maintenance system for mind, body, and spirit.

There is a type of Yoga for everyone, and some people want a little more spiritual flavor than others. Since Yoga has been around for at least 5,000 years, there is a very big variety to choose from.

As for skeptics who "point the finger" at each other - "He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone..." It might be best if we all practice a little more mindfulness, and loving kindness, before we decide to criticize things we don't understand.

Yoga is "out of the bag." It is no longer practiced by a particular! group. Therefore, Yoga is a public treasure, and not a genie that we will confine to a bottle. No matter how many people try to patent, or copyright, Yoga, it will be practiced within every corner of the earth.

So, please read the article in Time magazine and enjoy it, but take the time to remain objective. Recognize motives and words for their hidden agenda. Most of all, remain in good relations with your fellow man.

Hangover Yoga.wmv

While on Vacation for Easter Weekend in Honolulu Maui, I kept up my Yoga practise: in airports (try it), in the ocean as a pause from swimming (SUPER fun, try it). As well as in the Hotel Room and Fitness Centre at the Halekulani Hotel. After an amazing meal at Alan Wong's (where I drank plenty of Sake), this Video is me doing Yoga the next day. Standing postures are hard, but Yoga with a bit of a hangover takes the challenge up a notch. Practising a series of standing postures helps re-establish equilibrium and balance. So, whether you've been drinking alcohol the night before or lead a life that is lacking stablility - start your standing practise today! xoxo Laaila The Yoga Bunny

Possessed By Your Mind

Posted: 11 May 2012 12:00 AM PDT

Article by B. Jackson

If you asked someone in today's day and age if they believed in demon possession they would think you were out of you mind. But in a sense we are all possessed and it is by our mind.

Did you know you have over 50,000 thoughts a day? Do you have conscience control of all those thoughts? Then what does?

Can you observe your thoughts? Doesn't the act of observation imply two-an observer and that being observed?

Our mind feeds on worry and misery. Our mind feeds on the past and the future. Our mind loves conflict and turmoil. It wants to be at odds, fighting against everything going on in its world. It is like we are adrift in a little boat in the middle of the ocean and our mind is a hurricane, a raging storm that just won't stop.

But we can stop the mind. We can learn to silence our mind. We can learn to calm the raging storm and still the ocean and that is when we learn who we really are and all that we are capable of.

Sadly, so many are so possessed by their mind that they are unable to calm the storm. They have never discovered the peace of silencing the mind. Their days are spent in constant conflict and constant struggle with the mind. The worry and fear eats at them minute after minute. They think there is no relief. Sleepless nights and agonizing days are their prison.

We can free ourselves from the prison. We can free ourselves from the mind, even if only temporarily. Perhaps in this life we can't fully exorcise that "mind demon" that is in all of us. But we can take away a lot of its strength and power. We can escape from it and enter a place of peace of mind, a place where we just know that everything is going to be okay. It's almost unexplainable unless you have been there.

Unfortunately, many have never been there. Their mind has them trapped. All they can do is worry, fret, and complain. To them the world is a place of fear, a place where everyone and everything is conspiring against them. Their life is a constant nightmare and there is no wak! ing.

They are truly possessed.

Vesak Day, a sacred holiday

Posted: 11 May 2012 12:00 AM PDT

Article by Pushpitha Wijesinghe

Vesak Day is an occasion of great significance to Buddhists across the world. It commemorates the date of the birth of Gautama Buddha; according to Buddhist belief the Enlightenment and death of the founder of Buddhism occurred on this same date. The exact date of the occasion varies since different calendars are in use in the diverse Buddhist countries. In the calendar used by countries belonging to the Theravada school, the sacred day falls on the full moon day of the 5th or 6th month. In the lunar calendar of China the date falls in the fourth month. In the Gregorian (Western) calendar the day falls in May or April. On Vesak Day Buddhists will typically congregate at their local temple before the hour of dawn in order to participate in the raising of the Buddhist flag and the chanting of hymns in honour of the sacred Triple Gem; the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings of the Buddha) and the Sangha (the order of monks). Devotees bring offerings of candles, joss-sticks and flowers as gifts to be laid at the foot of their preceptor. There is a symbolic meaning in this ritual; just as the joss-sticks and candles burn out and the pretty flowers soon wither, the faithful are reminded that all life is destined to decay and death. Devotees are encouraged to refrain from killing of any kind and to limit themselves to vegetarian foods for the duration of the day. In some nations two days are reserved for Vesak observances and all slaughter houses and liquor shops are closed by official decree on these days. In some countries animals, birds and insects by the thousands are set free from captivity in a symbolic act of liberation. The intention is to set free those who are imprisoned, held captive or tortured and thereby gain merit, according to Buddhist beliefs. Many pious Buddhists will don a plain white dress and stay at their temple for the duration of the festival, renewing their commitment to follow the eight precepts of Buddhism.Travellers to Buddhist countries seeking fine hotels will find ideal accommoda! tions in Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. Hotel reservations at these excellent establishments will assure a memorable stay for visitors.

Refuge Sevenfold Offering Protection sung by Lama Gyurme jampasmandala.wordpress.com Each day, the Buddhist recites the 'Taking of Refuge'. He thereby places himself - as well as all beings- under the protection of Buddha, its teaching (which the Buddhist attempts to practice daily), and the community of those who are transmitting these teachings. This protection is not considered as a magical help but rather as supporting the individual efforts undertaken by the practitioner in order to live rightly in the world and to ultimately attain liberation.

Learn Mind Control Techniques Through Brainwave Entrainment

Posted: 10 May 2012 11:00 PM PDT

Article by Gregory Frost

Controlling your mind (or learning mind control) is essentially controlling your life and while everyone would like to have this power at their disposal, the truth is we are not born with the faculties to reach into the depths of our mind and place within out hands. The irony of the matter is we don't have the mind power to control our mind - we are essentially being limited by ourselves and that is perhaps the stiffest competition anyone will ever face in the road to bettering themselves and personal development. This is why many people fail at kicking bad habits, new years resolutions end up as toilet paper and we remain the same dysfunctional person that everyone knows. We are up against ourselves, and most of the time, we win.

Which means we lose at the same time and the only way to do it is to separate ourselves from ourselves, and as confusing as that may seem, it means putting ourselves in a state that allows us to separate the subconscious from the conscious mind - splitting the dualities of the mind. Once we are able to achieve this then the playing field is level and we are able to reprogram 'ourselves' or our subconscious mind 'the other us' to stop blocking our road to success. I would akin this description to the whole Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde theory.

Once we are able to separate the conscious and the subconscious we are able to get rid of all the bad habits, bad instructions and bad pieces of patterned behaviour that has been placed within the subconscious - the very ones that have been ruling our lives. How do you achieve this? Well there are many ways. If you are a swami or a kung-fu expert, you can train your mind to split itself and go into a deep meditative state - which has the same effect as self-hypnosis. Once you are in that state, you are able to cleanse yourself of the bad nuggets of information in your mind.

Alas, not all of us have the ability to do that and for those normal people out there, science has stepped in and filled the gap that allows us to do ! the exac t same thing. Names of this technology include the use of affirmations or positive message bombardment, autosuggestion or autogenics, binaural beats and subliminal messages. Each of these areas has the ability for us to reach into the subconscious mind and learn mind control techniques.

The most popular form of these mind control technology is brainwave entrainment and it uses forms and series of sounds and or visual stimulation to invoke the brain into specific frequency states - states that lull the brain into a meditative state and allows us to place messages and suggestive stimulants directly into the subconscious mind.

This means anything is possible, we can kick bad habits like smoking, and we can motivate ourselves to work harder and be more ambitious or be more confident or wipe away fear for public speaking. The applications number in the hundreds and you will surely find one that suits you - all when you learn the correct mind control techniques through brainwave entrainment.

Temples in Vietnam

Posted: 10 May 2012 10:00 PM PDT

Article by Lanhvht

Huong TempleLocated in Ha Tay province, 70 km southwest of Ha Noi, Chùa Hương (Perfume Pagoda) is one of the most popular religious sites in Vietnam. Chua Huong is the name of a cluster of temple sites in the mountain area of Huong Son in the province of Ha Tay. Chua Huong is famous for the annual pilgrim site of Buddhists. Yearly, between the first and the third lunar month of the year (February to March), just after the Tết festival (Lunar New Year), the Perfume Pagoda Festival (Hoi Chua Huong) attracts from all over the country. The festival is also a well-known site in the Vietnamese literature attracting poets and painters and a meeting place for young couples. The festival period is the busiest time. At the other time of the year, most of visitors are foreign and local tourists.

There are several sites to visit at the Perfume Pagoda's area: Thiên Trù pagoda, Hinh Bồng pagoda, Giải Oan pagoda, Hương Tích cave, Trình temple, Thanh Sơn Pagoda, Long Vân, Cây Khế, Tuyết Sơn and Mẫu Mẹ temple. Most of the tours take exemplary the Trình temple, the Thiên Trù pagoda and the Hương Tích cave.

The visit of Chua Huong it is normally a day trip from Ha Noi. First it takes an approximately 2 hour drive from Ha Noi to Ben Duc pier. Although there is a road from the pier to the base of pagoda complex, using row boats on Yen Vi river which (ca 55000 Dong) is the more romantic and scenic alternative to reach Chua Huong. The 45 minute boat ride on the Yen River is for some visitors the highlight of the trip.

The first stop of the boat trip will be Den Trinh (Registration Shrine), symbolically, in former time, all visitors to Chua Huong should first "trinh" or register at the shrine to announce their intentions. The boat will arrive next at Thien Tru temple (heavenly kitchen), which is kind of "Outer Temple", built in the 18th century. Thien Tru temple is embedded within hills and mountains. The rock formations in this area is also called "heavenly kitchen" as! they - with some imagination - look like cooks working. Thien Tru temple is renowned for the Thuy Tien tower, a monolith of granite. To the right of Thien Tru temple is Tien Son grotto, famous for the five granite statues and the various formations on the walls of the cave. When you struck one of the formations, it sounds like a "khanh", a Vietnamese percussion; some other sound like bells.

The visit continues to Dong Huong Tich (Huong Tich Cave or Inner Temple). The very scenic path leading to Dong Huong Tich has an endless number of steps, along narrow and bumpy stairs.. In recent years, a cable car system was built, offering an alternative to not-so-sportive visitors (30000 Dong one-way ticket, an energy saving option is to go up by cable car and walk down). According to a legend, the Huong Tich grotto was discovered 2000 years ago. The inscription "Nam Thien De Nhat Dong" (by Trịnh Sâm, 1767 - 1782, ruler of Northern Viet Nam) at the granite slab at the entrance means "the most beautiful grotto under southern sky". The grotto, which serves also religious events, has several colorful stalagmites and stalactites.

Bai Dinh TempleBai Dinh Pagoda is a religious complex covering a total area of 539 hectare, with both the ancient and the newly renovated Bai Dinh pagoda, parks, car parking and lake system.

The old Bai Dinh pagoda is located on the western slope of Dinh mountain and nestles in quiet forest. The pagoda houses an ancestor-worshipping house in the centre, Bright cave on the right hand side which worships the Buddha, the small temple worshipping Genie Cao Son .In addition, on the left hand side of the pagoda is another temple worshipping Saint Nguyen and next to it is Dark cave which worships the Fairy. With fanciful scenery and quiet atmosphere, the pagoda will make visitors feel likely to live in fairy land and they find peace in their minds.

Besides, visitors can explore many other grottoes and caves like Fairy cave with seven smaller ones or cave of Ba Chua Thuong Ngan( Th! e goddes s of forests). In these caves and grottoes, there are a large variety of magnificent stalactites and stalagmites with various strange shapes and sizes that will invoke the imagination of visitors

On the other side of Dinh Moutain is new Bai Dinh pagoda. This pagoda has been built since 2003 and covers a 80 ha area. The Bai Dinh pagoda possesses many parts such as Tam The Temple, Phap chu Temple, Quan Am temple (Bodhisattva Temple), Bao Thap, Bell Tower and dormitory area for Buddhist monks.

All materials are collected from local area and neighbouring provinces. To build the pagoda requires about five hundred craftsmen and many groups of workers from famous traditional craft villages such as Phu Loc wood making village, Ninh Van stone carving village Y Yen bronze casting village, Van Lam embroidery village and so on. Such people used Vietnamese materials for instance, green stone of Ninh Binh or ceramic tiles of Bat Trang to create Vietnamese features for the architecture of Bai Dinh pagoda

The most important emphasizing point of these great religion works are Tam the Temple and  Phap Chu Temple. Two temples cover a total area of 1,000 square meters. The height of Phap Chu Temple is up to 22m and it contains five partitions. In the centre of this temple is a bronze Buddha Sykamuni statue with 10 meters high and 100 tons heavy which is certificated as the biggest statue in Vietnam. This statue is casted by the pure bronze bought from Russian, casted and installed by the famous artisans of casting bronze statue in Y Yen, Nam Dinh. Moreover, there are several national records in this temple such as three largest horizontal lacquered boards (hoanh phi) and three biggest "Cua Vong" ( a kind of door which is sophisticatedly sculpted and engraved ) .In Tam The Temple , there are three Tam The statues representing the past, the present and the future. Each statue is 12 m high and weighs 100 tons.

Another special feature in Bai Dinh pagoda is "Great Bell" with the weight of 36 tons was cas! ted and located in Bell Tower. In addition, there is 70 -ton bronze drum on the floor of the Tower. What's more, coming to Bai Dinh pagoda, visitors have a chance to see the biggest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue in Bodhissattva Temple. This statue looks so marvellous with thousand hands and eyes to present the protection and universal salvation for common people

Furthermore, visitors will be astonished at the collection of 500 Arahat statues on the hill on the right - hand side of Phap Chu Temple. The 500 Arhat statues with the height of 2.3m, carved by Ninh Binh stone have different positions and gestures that create magic space and lively atmosphere

Without a doubt, Bai Dinh pagoda is masterpiece of both nature and men and it is the pride of Vietnamese people in terms of unique architecture, culture and historical value.

Thien Mu Pagoda HueLord Nguyen Hoang, the ancestor of the Nguyen dynasty, erected this Buddhist monastery in 1601. Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue was renovated in 1844 under King ThieuTri's sovereignty. As the legend has it, the people around the area used to see a vision of an old lady sitting on this small hill. The old lady dressed in a red long dress and green trousers claimed that this place belonged to the supernatural power and that someday a great leader would build a pagoda at this site to bring peace to the country. After saying that, the lady disappeared in the cloud. As the story of this heavenly lady traveled, Lord Nguyen Hoang upon hearing the story, ordered the construction of the pagoda here in 1601 and named it Chua Thien Mu - Heavenly Lady Pagoda.

The Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue is also known as the pagoda of the old celestial goddess. The phrase 'Thein Mu' translates to mean a fairy woman. The pagoda overlooks the southwest bank of the Perfume River and panoramic views beyond. Although, the 21-meter tall tower is the centerpiece of the temple, a 2000-kilogram bell cast in 1710 and a steal from 1715 displayed in the temple are other prime attractions of the temple.!

T he Thien Mu Pagoda or the Heavenly Lady pagoda has two sections. The front of the Pagoda houses the Phuoc Duyen tower, visible from various points in the city and can be accessed from the Perfume River. The 2000-kilogram bell cast in 1710 is also present in this area of the temple along with the tortoise bearing a great stele carved in 1715.

The other section of the pagoda is its rear portion, which houses the main hall where Buddha is enshrined. It is in this area that the monks of the temple live and practice Buddhism. Here are some tips for helping you to not only cope better but to tackle that Christmas stress: -

1) Chat to a trusted person about what is bothering or upsetting you. The Samaritans are great for this and will be expecting your call

2) Make a decision to tackle any debts before Christmas arrives so that you can enter the New Year knowing you have taken control

3) If you cant afford to buy presents for those who expect them from you, then tell them. If they are good friends and supportive relatives, they will understand.

4) Commit yourself into Christmas events. Do not turn invitations down. Your life will not change if you stay at home. However you go out and meet new people you give yourself a chance of new opportunities coming your way.

5) Volunteer to work for a charity over Christmas. Even if it is just working in the soup kitchens for one day. You will gain an amazing and life changing perspective.

If you need professional assistance, talk to a therapist who specialises in stress reduction such as a hypnotherapist or EFT practitioner. They can help you make your New Year start with a bang rather than a whimper.

Buddhism is a teaching tradition and religion, which originated in India. She is depending on the source of about 230 to 500 million worldwide [2] [3] [4] believers (after Christianity, Islam and Hinduism) is the fourth largest religion in the world. Buddhism is mainly in South, Southeast and East Asia spread. About a quarter of all Buddhists living in China.

The Buddhists refer to the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who lived in northern India, according to today's date in the prevailing research approaches fifth and possibly in the early 4th Century BC It is called the "historical Buddha", to distinguish it from mythic figures of Buddha, which is not attested historically. "Buddha" (literally, "Awakened One") is an honorary title that refers to an experience that is as Bodhi ("awakening") refers. What they mean is according to the Buddhist doctrine of fundamental and liberating insight into the basic facts of life, resulting from the overcoming of suffering-like existence. To acquire this knowledge along the lines of the historical Buddha, by following his teachings, the goal of Buddhist practice. Buddhism originated in the Indian subcontinent by Siddhartha Gautama. According to tradition, he became at the age of 35 years, formulated by the experience of "awakening" a succession of discoveries, which enabled him to the Buddhist teachings. Soon after, he began to spread the teaching, won the first students and founded the Buddhist community. Until his death at the age of 80 years, with the Buddhist idea of him about the final nirvana occurred (Parinirvana, "extinction"), he traveled through northern India teaching.

From the north Indian Siddhartha Gautama home, Buddhism spread first in the Indian subcontinent, Sri Lanka and Central Asia. A total of six Buddhist Councils contributed to the "canonization" of teach! ing and, together with the further spread in East and Southeast Asia, the development of different traditions in. Birth Control Patch and Ring May Raise Blood Clot Risk

Posted: 10 May 2012 06:00 PM PDT

Birth control in the form of a vaginal ring or skin patch may bring a higher risk of blood clots than birth control pills, a new study from Denmark suggests.

In the study examining women over a 10-year period, a blood clot was twice as likely to appear in those who used a vaginal ring as in those who took birth control pills containing levonorgestrel, a synthetic form of the female hormone progesterone. And women who used a hormonal skin patch were 2.5 times more likely to have a blood clot than women taking those pills.

Birth control pills in general are known increase women's risk of blood clots, but the study adds to a growing body of evidence that some forms of hormonal birth control increase the risk of clots more than others do.

For any type of contraception that contains estrogen and progesterone, the risk of blood clots may have to do with the type of progesterone the pill contains, said Susan Jick, an epidemiologist at Boston University who has studied the safety of oral contraceptives.

Because the findings pertaining to the vaginal ring and patch are relatively new, more research is needed to confirm them, Jick said.

However, experts emphasized that the risk of blood clots is very small from any type of hormonal birth control.

"What women really need to know about all of these methods is that, overall, their benefits overwhelmingly outweigh their risks," said Dr. Elizabeth Raymond, a senior medical associate at Gynuity Health Projects, an organization that aims to make birth control safer and more widely accessible. Hormonal birth control is highly effective in preventing pregnancy, which comes with its own risks, Raymond said, including an increased risk of blood clots.

Blood clot risk

In the new study, Øjvind Lidegaard of the University of Copenhagen and colleagues analyzed information on more than 1.6 million women between ages 15 and 49 who were followed from 2001 to 2010.

During the study period, about 5,200 women had a blood clot.

Among women who were not using hormonal contraceptives, there were two cases of blood clots yearly per 10,000 women. For women taking oral contraception with levonorgestrel, the rate of incidence tripled to six cases yearly.

For women using vaginal rings, there were about eight cases yearly per 10,000 women, and among women using birth control patches, about 10 cases yearly per 10,000 women.

Women who used progestogen-only intrauterine devices, or progestogen-only birth control implants, did not have an increased risk of blood clots compared with women not using hormonal contraception.

The results held after the researchers took into account factors such as age that could affect a women's blood clot risk. However, the researchers were not able to account for everything that could affect the risk, such as weight, Raymond said.

Convenience factor

Last month the Food and Drug Administration said newer birth control pills such as Yaz and Yasmin that contain drospirenone, another form of progesterone, would carry revised labels indicating the pills may increase the risk of blood clots more than older types of birth control pills containing levonorgestrel.

Women have many considerations when they choose a birth control method, including the cost, availability and convenience. "Some women have trouble remembering to take pills," she added, and might be able to use a ring or patch more consistently.

Dr. Elizabeth Poynor, a gynecologist and pelvic surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, said women should speak with their health care provider about what form of hormonal contraception is best for them. Women with a family history of blood clots or stroke may be at increased risk for blood clots and should discuss this, Poynor said.

The study appears today (May 10) in the British Medical Journal.

Pass it on: Some forms of hormonal birth control increase the risk of blood clots more than others, but all are effective at preventing pregnancy.

Mind Enhancing Subliminal Messages

Article by Dan Bainbridge

What are Subliminal Messages?

Subliminal messages are commonly referred to as sound recordings with statements on them moved to a higher sound frequency. These messages won't be heard by the human hearing system, but they are taken in by your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind is capable of taking in much more information than our regular senses. It is constantly processing information from all around us, and it can take in information which is considered audibly subliminal too.

In basic terms all information ends up in the subconscious mind. Here is it stored, and processed for later use. Anything we learn in a day goes to the subconscious mind, and then we are later able to recall, use, and act on the information.

With subliminal messages you can bypass the conscious learning element - effectively sending information straight into your mind.

How Can they Help?

Well, first of all it is possible to enhance your mind with these subliminal messages. As hinted above you can send information to your mind to reinforce your learning. Its not that you won't consciously ever have to do any work again - more that subconscious learning will help support and make your learning efforts easier.

It can help in several ways. It can make your mind more focused and help you concentrate easier. It will clear your mind and make you less prone to distractions and easier able to process new information. These are probably the most common uses for it - to help in areas to develop the mind, the memory, and concentration power of the mind

However, it goes beyond this. It can help in other areas other than pure learning. It can help to make changes to your belief systems. You can make changes to your personality, and to your patterns of thinking, and even your behavior patterns. Almost all issues have a root in the mind, so by tapping into this source you can change almost anything.

Again, this is not instant, nor is it all you have to do - you will still need ! to take some action towards your goals, but the subliminal messaging audio will simply speed up the process and give you a boost. Nothing in life is instant - everything worthwhile achieving will require some work to reach, or everyone would have achieved it and it wouldn't be worthwhile - but you can use subliminals to gain an advantage, to keep you committed, increase your motivation and your strength and power of mind.

Are They Dangerous?

Well, actually they can be - if used incorrectly, or in the wrong hands. Subliminal techniques are banned by the US and UK governments for use within advertising. You are basically not allowed to use subliminals to influence other people without their knowledge.

It was deemed unfair to use them in TV commercials due to the susceptibility of the human mind. So likewise if you were thinking of using them to manipulate or influence someone in any way then think again as this would get you into a lot of trouble.

However you can use them for personal reasons. You can, as outlined above, use them to help you develop in areas of your choice - whether it be enhancing your memory, improving your sports performance, developing your confidence, changing your personality or pretty much anything else.

Supercharge Your Subconscious Mind

Article by Gregory Frost

The preconscious mind, as discovered by early German scientist in the early 19th century, was one of the best kept secret of the human brain. For thousands of years, we as a race had thought that our mind was a two dimensional entity, living within a physical form that can be seen and touched (albeit with much difficulty) to the conscious mind that regulates our thinking and our critical faculties. We had never previously thought that there was a third, more powerful dimension to our mind - a subconscious mind that in fact held the secrets to empowering ourselves with greater mental and even physical abilities.

We could actually supercharge the subconscious mind - the only thing that was missing of course, was the methodology that was needed to achieve such gains. Early science was rudimentary at best when it came to dealing with the pre conscious mind - although having almost perfected the way they could dissect and identify parts of the brain. With the discovery of neurons and chemical reactions/electromagnetic radiation within the cortex and lobes of each of the brain's hemispheres, and how they co-related to the bodies functions, the five senses and even core functions of the physiological system, science finally had the ability to put two and two together.

The subconscious brain was the literally 'the brain' behind the show, with the conscious mind acting as a filter. What happens is information gets passed through the auditory, visual and olfactory systems primarily, with sense of touch coming last. The conscious mind filters this information into information that it compartmentalises into varying parts of the brain. So when we touch leather, we know what the material is and where it comes from. All this information comes together as critical thought. When we remember a touching moment or even a tragedy when we relate to leather, and the feelings that are brought back, is in essence our subconscious mind at work.

All the feelings of anxiety, happiness or even deep sadness ! are trig gered by the subconscious mind. Science has been able to measure these subconscious patterns by brainwave states. The brain exists in different electro magnetic states, and each has a specific purpose. The technology behind it, with complicated names like autogenics, bio feedback or binaural beats, have been used by medicine and science to evoke different states for different uses. When the subconscious mind is awakened within us (although we are sure that it is really never asleep in the first place) the brain shapes itself into a specific brainwave pattern.

Now with the use of such technologies, we are able to reach in a mould the subconscious mind, going so far as to relax our conscious mind and awaken the subconscious, so that positive messages can be placed directly. You can literally rebuild yourself and give yourself capabilities multiplied by several factors. Supercharge your subconscious mind - this is literally a reality in today's world and clever companies have compacted (literally) some of this technology into consumer level CDs that you can either buy off the shelf or even online. So why wait? Change your life today.
